Get Recruited by the U of A - Augustana Vikings

As a competitor in the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference (ACAC), part of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national body, The University of Alberta, Augustana Vikings Athletics program strives to create a student-athlete-centred, coach-driven and administratively supported university sports environment that will facilitate the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.

Situated in the City of Camrose, Alberta, Vikings Athletics provides support to eight varieties of sport, including basketball, curling, cross-country running, indoor track, hockey, nordic sports, volleyball, and soccer.

As a small campus of the University of Alberta, Augustana provides a focus on undergraduate education while not being overwhelming, having a student population of about 1000 students. Once a Viking, student-athletes get the added benefit of being a part of a close-knit athletic program made up of approximately 150 student-athletes or 15 percent of the campus student population.

Augustana provides plenty of opportunities for students to excel in their studies and desired fields, including Physical Education, Law, Crime, and Justice Studies, Management, Psychology and many more.
