Timothy is from St Paul and is in his 3rd year running for the Augustana Vikings. He is enrolled in a combined degree of Bachelor of Science and Education, majoring in Biology and one day hopes to become a university professor. As a returning player, Shapka hopes to continue improving his time and make great connections with his teammates.

Timothy has been on the Dean’s list from 2017-2019, volunteers as a math tutor and has co-organized the annual Extra Life charity drive event on the Augustana campus since 2017.  

When Shapka is not on the running trails you can find them playing any game in the Smash Bros. franchise with his roomates, or taking long walks around Camrose. His favorite book series is The Belgariad, his favorite movie is Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. and his favorite food is brie cheese.

Timothy,  is supported by his parents Brad and Marilyn, and his sisters Erica, Laura, and Emily. He runs for his old racing buddy Tex, whose hip won’t let him anymore.
