CAMROSE AB - OCTOBER 7 - First-year standout Miriam Guzman showed this weekend that her talent and composure are far beyond her years. Guzman has been a true powerhouse for the Vikings this season, finding the back of the net in both of the team’s victories and playing a key role in securing those wins. Her field awareness rivals that of a seasoned veteran, consistently reading the game, making smart decisions, and delivering the ball exactly where it needs to be.

Beyond her technical skills, Miriam brings a sense of calm leadership to the field, guiding her teammates and setting the tone with her performance. With her combination of skill, vision, and poise, we can’t wait to see just how far Miriam will go in the seasons ahead—it’s clear she’s only just getting started.

The Vikings’ home game stretch has come to an end, and now they’re hitting the road! Next up, they’ll face the Red Deer Queens on October 11, followed by a showdown with the Medicine Hat Rattlers on October 12.
