CAMROSE, AB - The Vikings Men’s Hockey team had a week to remember heading into back-to-back home games against the SAIT Trojans. With every goaltender sidelined by injury, the team turned to one hero—Nick Taylor.

Known as a cross country/indoor track all-star, Taylor stepped between the pipes and rose to the moment, helping the Vikings earn a split in the home-and-home series, capped by a thrilling 3–2 win on Sunday.

Having a Cross Country Running and Indoor Track competitor also being a very capable hockey goaltender is true testament to the athletic ability Nick showcases for our many teams. The Vikings are back in action tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. against the NAIT Ooks, before returning home on February 6 at 7:00 p.m. for another matchup with NAIT.
