CAMROSE, AB - Robbie Taylor was a steady and composed presence for the Vikings this past weekend against the #1 ranked Keyano Huskies, delivering a performance that reflected both his consistency and leadership on the court. Competing during his senior night weekend—and in the final home matches of his collegiate career—Taylor anchored the lineup with confidence and poise, setting the tone for his teammates in a high-pressure matchup.
On Friday night, Taylor was at his best offensively, finishing the match with an impressive .412 hitting percentage, recording 7 kills without committing a single error. His efficiency and smart shot selection provided a reliable spark for the Vikings’ attack, while his calm demeanor and leadership were felt throughout every rally.
Taylor has been a part of the Vikings program for five seasons, beginning his journey in 2021, and his impact has extended far beyond the stat sheet. Over the years, he has exemplified dedication, work ethic, and team-first leadership, leaving a lasting mark on the program. As he played the final home games of his career, Taylor’s performance served as a fitting reflection of the standard he has helped build and the legacy he leaves behind.
