Hockey season is right around the corner and the Vikings are getting pumped for their first showdown on home ice against the Briercrest Clippers on October 25th. 

The University of Alberta- Augustana Men’s Hockey team put together another successful season in 2023/24 making it to the ACAC Semi Finals. Ending their regular season with a 14-10 record. 

Fifth year graduate and team captain Owen Lamb was recognized last year as the Dean’s Award recipient for leadership at Augustana. Graduating forward Jack Hamly saved his best year for last, leading the Vikings with 6 goals and 19 assists for 25 points in 23 games. Hamly’s heroics led the Vikings to a first round playoff win against the rivaled Sait Trojans.

With 7 graduating players leaving the Vikings roster, the team will look to veterans Tanner Manz, Conrad Phillips, and Brayden Koch to lead the team for another great season.
