Coming off the 2023 season where they posted a 4-8 record in ACAC competition, the Vikings are eager to hit the pitch with a renewed focus on ball control, speed, and energy.
Last season’s goalkeeper Sofia Ovcharenko shone brightly by leading the league in saves, ultimately earning CCAA All-Canadian honors and set the record for most career saves in the ACAC. First year keeper Alex Macdonald will look to continue this momentum in the crease with Ovcharenko’s departure.
With six key players leaving the roster, including captain Sydnee Dallyn, veterans Kadie Johnston, Emily Quirke, and Elle Popiel will look to lead the team this season which features six home matches at Augustana Field.
