After a busy week on the pitch, Vikings Women's Soccer Goalkeeper Alex MacDonald has earned the Vikings Athlete of the Week recognition, presented by Domino's Pizza. 

MacDonald (Fort St. John, BC) had an extremely busy week facing 30 shots in two games against the Ambrose Lions and the defending ACAC Champions, Sait Trojans. MacDonald did an outstanding job of being the teams backbone during the matches, making many acrobatic saves and keeping the Vikings Women's Soccer team in good position both games. After two weeks of competition in the ACAC Soccer schedule, MacDonald finds herself in first place in saves (39) within the Conference and in the top ten among keepers for save percentage (.709%).

MacDonald and the rest of the Vikings Womens Soccer team will make a road trip this weekend to take on the Medicine Hat Rattlers on Saturday, September 21st. The Vikings next home action will be Saturday, September 28th at 11am when the team will host the Lethbridge Kodiaks at the Augustana Field.
