CAMROSE, AB - In a game that came down to the wire, the Lakeland Rustlers upset the Augustana Vikings, 60-55 to knock the higher-ranked seed out of playoffs in the ACAC North Division Semi-Final, Sunday night at Augustana Gym.

With the win, the Rustlers will move onto the ACAC Final Four next weekend and join the Keyano Huskies, the SAIT Trojans, and RDP Kings. While the Vikings are sent packing.

Leading the way to victory was Artavis Holiday with 14 points, three rebounds and two assists. Across the court, the Vikings found scoring from veteran Nic Harder who drained 19 points and had 17 rebounds in his standout performance.

Starting the game out of the gate strong were the Vikings jumping out to a 17-11 lead at the end of the first. However, not backing down, the Rustlers closed the gap and made it a one-point game with the Vikings leading 32-31 at halftime.

Winning the points battle again in the third, the visitors outscored the Vikings 16-13 to take their first lead of the game.

With the hometown crowd getting loud the Vikings exchanged points with their guests and in the dying second were down by just three points. A foul and perfect shooting from Jean-Baptis Otshudi would bring the game out of reach as the Rustlers walk away with the win, 60-55.
