The 2017 CCAA Curling National Championship at the Rose City Curling Club in Camrose, Alberta got underway Wednesday with a morning and afternoon draw. With 8 sheets of ice available, all 16 teams are in action for every draw of the round robin.

They were going anyway as hosts, but now they will be going as the top seed out of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. The Vikings needed an extra set, but beat the NAIT Ooks 5-4 for the gold medal at Lakeland College in Vermilion.
The 2017 CCAA Curling National Championship is the perfect opportunity to round up Alumni, reminisce old times and cheer on our current teams! The Curling Alumni Reunion will be held on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25.
The Augustana Vikings Curling Team has transitioned out of a successful dry land training season to on-ice practices. The Vikings Curling program, which includes a Women’s Team, a Men’s Team, and a Mixed Team is ready for the competitive season ahead. All curlers are excited to get back to playing and competing with the first ACAC competition coming soon. Fall Regionals are slated for November 25-27 and will be hosted by Red Deer College at the Pidherney Curling Centre.
