For the first time in their post-secondary careers, Ryan Degner and Jack Smilski are named to the ACAC Men’s Basketball North All-Conference Second Team.

Having his best season in red, black and white to date, Smilski led the conference in rebounds per game with 13.6, thanks to his conference-leading 101 offensive rebounds and fourth-most defensive rebounds, making for a total of 259 on the year. In addition, his 25 blocks were the fifth most, while he added 179 points to his stats.

Smilski’s 573 minutes played was a season-career high along with his season total points, blocks, rebounds and 18 assists, earning a spot in the conference's second team.

Joining his teammate on the second team, Degner suited up and started for the Vikings in all 20 games. His stats were just one story to tell with 277 points, 96 rebounds, 54 assists, and 23 steals, Degner's leadership within the team was also highly praised during the year.
