Splitting the weekend with the NAIT Ooks, Jack Hamly was a consistent presence on the ice for the Vikings earning this week's Vikings Athlete of the Week, presented by Dominos.

Starting the weekend on Friday night, Hamly’s assist on Tavis Roch’s open goal plus his shorthanded goal gave the Vikings an early lead in the second period, before the Ooks stormed back to take game one of the home-and-home series, 4-3.

Needing to bounce back at home for game two, Hamly’s assist on the Vikings third and fourth goals for Jordan Mish and game-winner Conrad Phillips helped propel the Vikings to an overtime win.

Hamly and the Vikings will lace up the skates for their final conference games before playoffs this weekend in a home-and-home series with the Portage Voyageurs. The Vikings will honour their graduating players on home ice on Friday night.
