Colton Simard was this week's Athlete of the Week after helping the men's curling team reach a 2-3 result, and a fourth place standing, this weekend at the ACAC Curling Winter Regional.

Colton Simard, aka 'Captain Colton', is the glue that holds the Augustana Men's Curling team together. At third position, he supports skip Andrew Klassen with decision-making and strategy. This past weekend at Winter Regionals, Colton curled 85% in a key matchup against NAIT to help secure the team's spot in the Conference Finals slated for mid February in Camrose. This will be Colton's fourth trip to the finals in as many years. Whether on or off the ice, Colton is a motivator. Look for his leadership and competitive experience to help guide the team onto a successful season.
