We now know who will be competing for the medals. On the second day of the ACAC Curling Conference Championship the Gold and Bronze medal games were decided after an intense day of games with every team scrambling to earn a spot in the coveted gold medal match.

Men's Division – Day 2:

On day two it was the NAIT Ooks that really impressed the fans, defeating the host Vikings in back-to-back games to secure a spot in the semi-finals, with an appearance in the final on the line. However, the RDC Kings was not to be denied and defeated NAIT in the semis to move on to the finals. Concordia wasn't going to let NAIT have all of the spotlight though, pulling off two wins against the RDC Kings to punch a ticket straight to tomorrow's final.

• NAIT Ooks defeat the Augustana Vikings 8-0

Draw #2 (Quarterfinals):

• NAIT Ooks defeat Augustana Vikings 9-3

• Concordia Thunder defeat RDC Kings 4-2

• RDC Kings defeat NAIT Ooks 6-1

Women's Division – Day 2:

On day two, it was the RDC Queens who continued heir dominance, putting up an undefeated record in the round robin, while also picking up a win over MacEwan in the 1-2 quarterfinal to secure a berth in the gold medal game. Squaring off against RDC in the gold medal match will be the MacEwan Griffins after they defeated the NAIT Ooks in the semi-final Saturday night.

The bronze medal game will feature a showdown between Concordia and NAIT.

Mixed Division – Day 2:

Day two belonged to the Portage Voyageurs as they won back-to-back games, ensuring some hardware for their squad as they will compete in the gold medal game against the MacEwan Griffins. The NAIT Ooks pulled of a huge win against RDC in the 3-4 game, but fell in the semis. They will compete for bronze against RDC tomorrow morning.
