After many hard fought battles, great shots, and near misses, we have finally crowned our conference champions here in Camrose Alberta.

 

Men's Division – Day 3:
The final day saw two intense games as both the gold and bronze medal matches were tight right down to the wire. In the championship game the Concordia Thunder stormed back from an early hole to defeat the RDC kings by a score of 8-5.

In the bronze medal match, the host Augustana Vikings were finally able to overcome rival NAIT after suffering back to back loses on Saturday. Final score 6-4.

Standings:

Gold Medal Game:

  • Concordia Thunder defeat RDC Kings 8-5.

 

Bronze Medal Game:

  • Augustana Vikings defeat NAIT Ooks 6-4.

 

Women's Division – Day 3:
The RDC Queens never took their feet off the gas as they cruised to a 6-2 victory over the MacEwan Griffins. On the other side of the pool it was NAIT edging out the Concordia Thunder to take the bronze 5-3.

  • RDC Queens defeat MacEwan Griffins 6-2

 

Bronze Medal Game:

  • NAIT Ooks defeat Concordia Thunder 5-3



Mixed Division – Day 3:
The mixed division definitely treated us to our most intense games of the morning. We saw the MacEwan Griffins take two in the eight to break the tie and win 7-5 over Portage, securing a gold medal. On the other end it all came down to the last shot as NAIT clutched up and pulled off a 7-6 win over RDC Curling.

Bronze Medal Game:

  • NAIT Ooks defeat RDC Kings 7-6
