Keaton is from Calgary, AB and is in his first year with the Vikings, looking to crack the line-up in the power forward position. He is enrolled in the combined Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education program with a major in Biology and a minor in Kinesiology. His plan after his degree is to become a high school Biology and Physical education teacher, he say; “I had an incredible biology teacher this year that changed my outlook on how influential and intelligent a teacher can be, so I hope then when I get the opportunity to pass knowledge I can influence the students just like Mr. Mike Craig influence me.” Keaton chose to come to Augustana because It gives him the opportunity to see what it is like living away from home, while playing basketball;  being able to get a University of Alberta degree was also very appealing. When Keaton is not on the basketball court he’s an avid reader of fictional books, lifting weights and coaching tykes Basketball. His favorite book is The Martian, his favorite movie is The Intouchables and his favorite food is Chinese Buffets.
