Coach Blaine Gusdal said of his squad, "the Saturday night win was a great bounce-back after a tough loss the night before.  We had numerous opportunities to score on Friday in NAIT, but ultimately gave up too many soft goals as a team and did not handle any adversity well that night.  Saturday, I was very proud of how the guys pulled together, battled hard for each other, and got an important win in double OT.  Patrick Thompson-Gale's winning goal was highlight-reel material and Curtis Skip was sensational in goal, especially in the 3rd period when we had some huge penalty-kills.  Owen Sobchak stepped up with a couple big goals and I can't say enough about the contributions made throughout our line-up."
