Bring the whole family to the EnCana Arena on Family Day Monday, February 20 to enjoy the first annual Family Day Camrose All-Star Skills Challenge, presented by Re/Max Camrose's Michelle Majeski and Trevor Vinet! Come watch players from the Kodiaks, Augustana Vikings, and Camrose Minor Hockey participate in:

• Battle River Sports-Fastest Skater

• Smitty's-Accuracy Shooting

• Jacobsen Financial- Show Down

• Battle River Sports-Relay Skate

• Jacobsen Financial- Puck Handling

Coach Blaine Gusdal is excited about the upcoming event, "I believe this will prove to be a very positive and enjoyable event on so many levels... To have the Vikings and Kodiaks players all on the ice, mixing with Camrose Minor Hockey players and showing off some of their skills, is just a part of the excitement." He adds, "the whole package of the skills competition, the family-friendly options on the concourse, and the involvement of so many people makes for a great 'Family Day.'  Families and spectators will not only have the pleasure of seeing some great on-ice hockey skills, but they'll also have the opportunity to get up-close and friendly with other Vikings student-athletes in a very enjoyable setting."

While this is happening on the ice, there's more Family Day Party upstairs on the concourse with the Augustana Vikings Men's & Women's Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Nordic Teams!

Face Painting & Temporary Tattoos, Snacks, Crafts and Colouring, T-shirt Cannon fun, Mascots, Board Game Zone and Bouncy Castle - fun for the whole family!
