As the Alberta Colleges Athletics Association preps for the 2023-24 athletic season, Vikings Men’s Hockey will get ready to begin their 2023-24 season campaign on October 14th on the road in a home-and-home series with the RDP Kings.

Vikings Men's Hockey Schedule

Following a season of excellence that found the Vikings nearing the top of the standings to grab a quarterfinal bye in playoffs, the team will be looking to improve on their season-end performance that saw the NAIT Ooks move on to the ACAC Final with two straight wins in their best-of-three series.

The Vikings last claimed an ACAC title in 2011 that garnered sellout crowds at the arena, a feeling in which the team would like to create again following two consecutive bronze medal finishes.

The Vikings will take to the ice 24 times over the five-month season from October to March with playoffs lasting late into the month.

Keeping with tradition, ACAC Men's Hockey playoffs will consist of the top two seeded teams receiving a bye past the best-of-three quarterfinal, before taking on the quarterfinal series winners in a best-of-three semifinal with the winners battling it out in a best-of-five conference final. With seven teams in the league, only six will qualify for a playoff position.
