Men's Soccer Results From Futsal Tournament

The men's soccer team are staying in shape throughout the off season by playing futsal and had their first match ups over the weekend. They headed to Prairie College in Three Hills. The team lost their first game against Olds College 2-1 with Jaeden Norton scoring. Coach Tom McManus said the team "played well and a win was definitely there." 
 
They played again in the evening and lost 5-0 to Lethbridge. McManus said it was a "good game overall but in the last minute of the first half they scored two goals and then an early one in the second half."

The team played again the next morning and found their first, resounding with, with a final score of 9-2. Goal scorers were: Matthew Svederus with three goals, Qais Alizada with two goals, Jaeden Norton with two goals, and a single goal from both TJ Jegede and Carson Penner.
 
That evening, the Vikings won again with a score of 6-1  against the Prairie Pilots, who they played again the following morning to get into the playoffs. Goals were scored by Rami Ayache, Carson Penner, TJ Jegede, and Jaeden Norton with three goals.
