Toan is from Bien Hoa City ( a small city on the north of Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam,  and is in his first year with the Vikings, playing primary as a defender. He is enrolled in Management and major in Business Economies, and working forward to build his future business. Toan chose to come to Augustana because the school provides a high academic opportunity within a small, friendly, and professional environment, where the students can interact with their professors easily as well as with other students.

When Toan is not on the soccer pitch, you can find him at the gym doing workout, inside the library studying for his classes, or walking around the city to explore new places. His favorite author is Dan Brown and he loves all of his novels from The Lost Symbol to Inferno, he is a fan of the soccer team Barcelona, and his favorite movies are Love Me if You Dare, One Piece and Naruto.
