Alex is from Camrose, Alberta and is in their fifth year playing for the Augustana Vikings primarily as a defender of defensive midfielder. He is enrolled in a BSc program, majoring in chemistry and one day hopes to become a researcher in medicine.
As a returning player, Dobson hopes to win some games and make playoffs in his last year of eligibility while making an impact towards the younger players of the team. He wants to display that academics is just as important as athletics and did that by obtaining both the CCAA and ACAC academic athlete awards in 2018.
When Dobson is not on the soccer pitch you can find them, watching Arsenal play, napping or watching Netflix. His favorite book is the Harry Potter series, he can’t decide which book he likes the most, this comes hand in hand with favorite movie which is any of the Harry Potter series. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite soccer player is James Milner.
Dobson is supported by his parents, Clare and Mark Dobson and the family pet, Buster who keeps him on his toes.
