CAMROSE, AB - The Vikings woes continue, as the NAIT Ooks defeated the University of Alberta - Augustana Vikings 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-23), Saturday night at Augustana Gym.

With the loss, the Vikings remain winless on the season, losing six straight matches and only winning three sets. The Ooks on the other hand sit opposite of the Vikings in first place in the north, going 5-1 through their opening six games.

Jumping out with the momentum, the Ooks took a quick first set, 25-16, before the Vikings battled hard in the second as they hunted for their first win. However, small mistakes would cost the home side as they would lose straight sets despite the battle.

Looking ahead, the Vikings will travel to Red Deer Polytechnic on Friday for a single-game weekend, while the Ooks will head south to challenge the Ambrose University Lions on Friday and carrying on to the Lethbridge College Kodiaks on Saturday evening.
