Kodiaks end the regular season with five game win streak

CAMROSE, AB - With luck still not going their way, the University of Alberta - Augustana Vikings fell 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-22) to the Lethbridge College Kodiaks, Friday night at Augustana Gym.

The loss keeps the Vikings winless on the season, with one more chance to find one tomorrow night when they wrap up their season. Meanwhile, the Kodiaks extended their win streak to five games and remain second in the south, just two points back of the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and that is where they will remain, advancing directly to the ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship at Keyano College.

Shaye Wall led the Kodiaks to Victory with 10 kills on 14 attempts for a .643 kill percentage, while Adam Revet had three aces.

Across the court, Robbie Taylor, Dylan Draker, and Connor Peake all had five kills, with Calder Thompson helping out with 20 assists.

Tomorrow night the Vikings will take on the Ambrose Lions to end the regular season at 8 pm when they will also honour their graduating student-athletes.
