CAMROSE, Alta - In an entertaining match at the Augustana Gymnasium, the Augustana Vikings and Sait Trojans found themselves in a classic tug-of-war match. In front of a chilled crowd, momentum played big factors with the Trojans finding early leads only to find the set tied in a matter of 6 points.

Despite the weather outside, Vikings Boris Kuljanin was red hot all night with 14 kills throughout the match. Augustana setters both saw the court with Caelum Hartman, and rookie debut from local Dawson Sparrow, recording 33 assists combined.

With a spread-out offensive evening from Sait which saw four separate hitters recording at least 5 kills, the men of Troy led two sets to zero each at a score of 25-22. The Vikings managed to pull within one with a 25-21 third-set win from a great effort led by the energy of captain and player of the game Bryce Boan

The Trojans will enjoy a day off tomorrow, while the Vikings will make the trip south to Olds College to take on the Broncos at 8pm. You can catch all the action on ACACTV.
