The Vikings will compete in the 2024 ACAC Indoor Track Championships on Saturday and Sunday
After two ACAC Running Room Grand Prix, the Vikings Indoor Track team will wrap up their season at the 2024 ACAC Indoor Track Championships at the University of Alberta Butterdome from March 16-17.
The Vikings have yet to pick up a medal position during the 2024 season, but with the slate wiped clean for the weekend and extra weeks of training under their feet, promising results are ahead.
The team will watch for Sidney Cusack the 600m distance to find her stride this weekend following her fifth-place finish at the RDP Kings & Queens meet in February. Meanwhile, teammate Chloe Funnell will be looking to build off her recent medal in biathlon for the Vikings to improve on her previous fourth-place finish in the women’s 1500m.
The first race will set off at 4:30pm for the women's 3000m timed finals at the Butterdome on Saturday.
