Fourth year Physical Education Student, Jaeden Norton, led the Vikings to a 2-2 draw with Keyano scoring in the 86th minute to tie up the game. Norton used his speed and powerful shot to put the team up 1-0 and after Keyano tied it up. "He took things onto his own feet to once again put the ball away in the far corner and posted a solid performance," expressed Head Coach, Tom McManus.
Jaeden Norton is from Wetaskiwin, Alberta, and is in his 4th year playing with the Vikings as a striker. He is enrolled in Bachelor or Arts - Physical Education and one day hopes to become a high school gym teacher. As a returning veteran, Jaeden hopes to aid his team in improving their record from last season. When Jaeden isn't playing soccer he's at the lake or playing Fortnite with the boys. His favourite movie is Step Brothers and he enjoys listening to XXXTENTACION and Lil Pump. Jaeden's most memorable sports moment was scoring a game winning free kick in extra time to help his team capture a bronze medal at provincials.
