CCAA Sports Info

To begin the second day of the 2023 CCAA Women's Basketball National Championship, the Augustana Vikings and MSVU Mystics played a back-and-forth first half in a bronze medal quarter-final matchup.

It would be the Mystics that got out in front, leading by five after the first quarter. The Vikings would bounce back outscoring MSVU by 10 in the second and lead at half by five.

Augustana lived around the net all game, scoring 42 of their points in the paint and extending their lead to 11 after three quarters. The Vikings would go on to win 80-68.

Jenessa Doctor of Augustana was named a 4imprint Player of the Game, as was the Mystics Katherine Khorovets. Doctor had 16-points on 50 per cent shooting. Khorovets had a 15-point performance, knocking down three threes.
