After battling it out to the final night of the conference season, the Vikings ended with the upper hand and the chance to host thanks to tiebreaking rules securing them the fourth spot in the north, while the Huskies were forced to settle with the fifth and final spot following a narrow loss to the RDP Queens on February 17.

Have met twice this season, the series was split with the Vikings making the two-game road trip in October. It was a 71-64 Friday night win for the red, black and white, with the Huskies claiming game two in a low-scoring affair, 45-41 on a Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings enter playoffs with an 8-12 record, going 4-6 in their last 10, while the Huskies enter with the same story.

Leading the Vikings on the season has been third-year Mackenzie Mrazik with 451 points, sixth best in the conference, while veteran Tayah Fiveland has gathered up 165 rebounds for the fifth most in the conference.

The winner of Friday night's match-up will advance to face the perfect 20-0 Lakeland Rustlers on Saturday at 6:00pm MST in Lloydminster with a shot at the berth to the ACAC Final Four next weekend. Catch all the action on ACAC TV.
