What position do you play? I normally play striker, although I have been playing a lot of midfield recently!
How long have you played soccer? I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.
What are your personal goals as an athlete for this upcoming soccer season? My goals this season are to improve my fitness and to mold well with the team.
What academic program are you taking and why? I am in Kinesiology because throughout my years playing sports I have often found myself at physiotherapy, this has sparked an interest in athlete rehabilitation for me.
Who is someone that inspired you to play? Both my parents definitely inspired me to play, they started me up in soccer at a very young age and whenever I would want to quit they would push me to continue.

Aoife Botchey is from Sherwood Park and is in her first year with the Vikings playing as a midfield. She is enrolled in Kinesiology and one day hopes to become an Athletic Therapist. When Aoife is not playing soccer you can find her at the gym, hanging out with friends, or finding activities to do. She loves John Green books, her favorite movie is Love Rosie, and her favorite food is hash browns.
