CAMROSE, AB – Despite a 20 save effort from keeper Sofia Ovcharenko, the Vikings lost their fourth straight game 8-1 to the visiting Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Saturday afternoon at Augustana Field.

Queens first-year forward Corbynn Fujimoto had a successful afternoon scoring her first ACAC career hat trick, while fellow first-year Sofia Quinteros opened the scoring early before adding a second goal to her name before the end of the first half. Third-year Alisha Coules added to the Queen's total with two goals, before rookie Paige Kalbfleisch closed out the game with the Queen's eighth goal of the afternoon.

The Vikings loan goal of the game from Second-year Anna Goulard in the 21st minute to cut the Queens lead in half 2-1, before Fujimoto countered with her second goal of the day less than a minute later and from there it was all Queens.
