CAMROSE, AB - Adding to her total saves on the afternoon, the University of Alberta - Augustana Vikings fall 1-0 to the visiting RDP Queens, Sunday afternoon at Augustana Field.

The win keeps the Queens in the third and final spot for the 2023 ACAC Championship, while the Vikings fall back and are tied for fourth place in the south division.

Grace Smith's goal was the difference maker in the match, while goalkeeper Abby Kotyk made one save in the win. Across the field, Sofia Ovcharenko kept the Vikings in it, making 18 saves, bringing her season save total to 89 to lead the ACAC.

Next up, the Vikings will travel south the Calgary next weekend to take on the Ambrose Lions on Saturday at 6pm, while the Queens will host the Medicine Hat Rattlers at 2pm.
