Next year I will be taking a bachelor of science, majoring in biology, and minoring in physical education. My future plans are to complete my degree while playing competitive volleyball. My goal for next year is to be the hardest working player on the team. That is a huge task, but I am willing to give 100% the whole year. It is important to me that I am a reliable teammate. When I'm not in school or playing volleyball, my go to activity is playing the guitar. My favourite food is strawberries and nutella. I can't say I have an all time favourite quote, however a quote I really like is "It's hard to beat someone who never gives up" -Babe Ruth.
My family consists of my mom, Deb, my dad, Brad, my sister, Katie, and my brother, Joey. My family is very close and a huge reason why I play competitive sports. I was dragged to every tournament and game watching my older siblings and I have learned so much about sports through them. My dad and my high school coach, Brent Appel, have been vital coaches and mentors throughout my schooling years as a player and person.
All of my family members have attended and played sports for Augustana and that is a huge reason why I also decided to commit here. I became an Augustana Viking because I believe it is a great school to gain some experience at a higher level of volleyball.
