Women's ACAC All-Conference Players:

Rae Metrunec, North Division, Outside Hitter
Rae is from New Sarepta and is in her 4th year playing with the Vikings, primarily as a right side. She is enrolled in Bachelor of Science majoring in Math and Physics and one day hopes to become an astrophysicist. As a returning player, Rae aims to beat her hitting stats from last year and hopes her team will return to Provincials.

When Rae is not on the volleyball court you can find her studying or chilling with her people. Her favorite book series is Harry Potter, her favorite movies are Marvel movies, and her favorite food is chicken wings.

Rae is the daughter of Mitch and Sherry Metrunec, and the sister of Lee and Jill, who played on Augustana's Soccer team and Volleyball team respectively.

Rebecca Petrie, North Division, Middle Blocker
Rebecca is from Tomahawk, AB and is in her fourth year with the Vikings, primarily playing middle. She is enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts of Kinesiology and Sport Studies, and one day hopes to be a speech language pathologist. As a returning player, Rebecca hopes that the team will come back even stronger for her last year and try for nationals.

When Petrie is not on the volleyball court, you can find her at the gym, watching netflix, or baking. Her favorite book is anything by Nicholas Sparks, her favorite TV show is Shameless, and her favorite food is taco salad.

Rebecca is the daughter of Brenda and Darrin and the sister of Branden.

Shae Boyes, North Division, Rookie of the Year
Shae is from Rimbey, AB and is in her first year with the Vikings, playing primarily as a left side. She is enrolled in Bachelor of Arts major in Physical Education (Kinesiology and Sport Studies) and one day hopes to become a rehabilitation therapist. Shae chose to come to Augustana because she is close to home and loves the small town environment.
When Shae is not on the volleyball court you can find her at the gym, at the lake, or eating. Her favourite book is 19 Minutes, or One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Her favourite show is Friends and her favourite food is pizza.
