Thunder win close game at the Augustana gymnasium

CAMROSE, Alta. - The University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings faced a challenging game against the Concordia Thunder, resulting in a final score of 66-58 in favor of the Thunder at Augustana gym.

The game was a thrilling display of athleticism and strategy, with both teams playing with fierce determination. Concordia currently holds fourth place in the standings with a record of 8-7, while the Vikings sit in sixth place with a record of 6-10, looking to earn a final playoff spot in the north
conference.

Continuing to dominate the court in the second half of the season, Thunder #6 Jenna Rinsky led the charge with 24 points with 7 rebounds. Also standing out on the visiting teams roster was #11 Rachel Harvey who added 16 points and 8 rebounds and #5 Hannah Mitchell adding 15 points and 6 rebounds earning her player of the game.

Despite their best efforts, Augustana was unable to break through Thunder's defense but will look to redeem themselves as they travel to Concordia tomorrow for a rematch starting at 6pm.
