Having the only university biathlon program in North America, I knew Augustana was where I wanted to go when I decided to transfer in 2014. I love the team atmosphere from both the biathlon and XC running teams here. I chose outdoor education because it gives me opportunities that I would never have dreamed of before coming here, like going dogsledding in the NWT this winter. It also gives me so many options for when I graduate to find work in an exciting outdoor environment. Besides school, I enjoy doing anything outdoors, art, hanging with friends, and learning new things.
