I am a 5th year Kinesiology and Psychology double major and the plan is to get into medicine after my undergrad degree and become a general practitioner. I have played with various sports teams when I was younger including soccer, basketball, tennis, badminton, taekwondo, kickboxing, swimming etc.But it was only since coming to Augustana that I got back into sports. My goal this year is to stay active while maintaining my academics and giving back wherever I can. When not in class I like cooking, working on cars, music, knitting, and building models. I don't really have a favorite food just anything that tastes good. My favorite quote is "If I can take it, I can make it" Louis Zamperini. I have a younger brother and I have about 12-13 years of experience in the restaurant industry with certifications in culinary and business. I am at Augustana because I missed registration at north campus and I ended up falling in love with the Augustana community so decided to stay. I kind of became a Augustana Viking gradually starting in my second year and now I am wishing I got into it sooner. I decided to become an Augustana athlete because the coach and my team mates were so friendly and accepting of me and my current skill level and were willing to work with me.
