I'm taking the Outdoor-Ed stream of Physical Education. I've been cross-country skiing ever since I could walk. I'm looking forward to really getting to know the ski team this year as well as competing in some more challenging races. When I'm not on my skis or in class, I enjoy hanging out with awesome people, listening to and making music, camping, travelling, horseback riding, skating/playing hockey, baking cookies! and the list goes on. My favourite food is a good fruit salad (specifically strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and nectarines). Mmmmm. Favourite quote? Oh my, too many. We'll go with: "“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” -Dumbledore Throughout my skiing journey, I have been very fortunate to be coached by my dad who is also conveniently quite good at waxing skis. Thanks! I came to Augustana because of the small campus and because I knew students who had attended before me really enjoyed their experience. I became an Augustana Viking because I love skiing and because I love racing. Further, being on a team is very encouraging and your team members push you to become something better. Being a Viking is a very positive part of my life.
