Michio Green is a 1st year Kinesiology from Air Ronge, Saskatchewan. His ideal career would allow him to have an active life and be able to teach. Inspired by Johnny Cash, he has been playing and singing casually for 3 years. As an athlete, he names his biggest influence as every coach and opponent he has had — they have all pushed him forward in his athletic career. His father has also been a big influence by supporting and motivating him. Micho has been skiing for 6 years and running competitively for 4 years. This year his goal is to adapt to his new life and live the college experience. His most memorable sport moment is when he won gold with his team in Quebec at the 2014 Cadet Biathlon Nationals, a moment that set him on his biathlon journey. His good friend Matt Gill is his favourite opponent to race against. When not in class, Micho loves to play or listen to music, make or watch films, and write or read, and eat ice-cream.
