I am from São Paulo, Brazil and I am in my first year with the Vikings running with the Cross country running team. I am majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Biology and I hope to one day become a doctor. I joined Augustana because of the small community and the various opportunities that the campus offers both inside and outside the class. When I am not in class or running some of my hobbies are to read a good book, play tennis or go swimming, and spend time with my family. I am also a huge fan of Brazilian soccer. My favorite book is I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou, my favorite movie is the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and my favorite type of food is definitely pasta. My favorite quote is “Your focus determines your reality”.
