Anne is from Camrose and is in her 2nd year of racing with the Vikings as a runner and biathlete. She is enrolled in BA in Psychology and one day hopes to become a psychologist or psychiatrist. As a returning athlete, Anne’s goals including running at CCAA nationals and competing at the 2019 FISU World University Games in biathlon. When Anne is not on the trails you can find her enjoying a cup of coffee and planning her future adventures. Her favourite book is 1984 by George Orwell, one of her favourite movies is Lady Bird, and her favourite foods are traditional Czech meals. One of her favourite quotes is: “The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection, that one is sometimes willing to commit sins for the sake of loyalty, that one does not push asceticism to the point where it makes friendly intercourse impossible, and that one is prepared in the end to be defeated and broken up by life, which is the inevitable price of fastening one's love upon other human individuals.” -George Orwell
